Sight adjustments.

To adjust the sights of HK’s 9x series,G3/33 and MP5 models you will need the following:

-HK sight adjustment tool or a forceps/needle nose pliers and a #2 Philips head screwdriver.

Windage adjustment:

Loosen the clamping screw and turn the adjusting screw the desired amount of ¼ turns.

Turning the adjusting screw clockwise moves the POI left, counterclockwise moves the POI right.

Elevation adjustment:

-HK tool

Insert the elevation adjustment tool into the rear sight cylinder in such a manner that the wedges of the tool engage the two splines in the cylinder that contains the catch bolts.

Now press the Philips-head screwdriver into the adjustment tool and hold firmly.

You can now rotate the rear sight cylinder the desired amount of ¼ turns.

-Pliers/forceps

Use the Needle nose pliers/forceps to press in the catch bolts.

You can now rotate the rear sight cylinder the desired amount of ¼ turns.

Make sure the catch bolts reengage the splines after the adjustment is done.

Then turn the sight drum to the desired aperture.
