The entire rifle has been painted with Duracoat, and has a new
Schmidt & Bender 5-25x56 PMII variable scope mounted on a U.S.
optics 20 moa picatinny rail.
The barrel is a 28" .308 barrel, but it will be replaced with
a 6.5x55 barrel as this round has better characteristics
for long range shooting out to +1000 meters.
The .308 normally go subsonic around 800 meters or so, causing
erratic bullet flight patterns.
